Experience our Life-Giving Retreats
Join us each year for an intimate gathering with sisters in Christ who share our vision of a life-giving motherhood. Together, we’ll explore spiritual disciplines like “Solitude and Silence” with our loving Father, Lord Jesus Christ, and the gentle guidance of the Holy Spirit. Expect meaningful reflection, growth, and sweet moments of fellowship.
Silence and Solitude Retreat, Fall ‘24
From October 3-5, we gathered at Camp Deer Park in the scenic New York State wilderness for a time of renewal and spiritual growth. Led by our Founder, Min Hwang, the retreat centered on deepening the discipline of Solitude & Silence, following Christ’s example. Attendees experienced meaningful moments of reflection and fellowship, practiced the spiritual discipline of solitude, and enjoyed rejuvenating activities like facials, massages, Barre, and inspiring workshops based on the Charlotte Mason philosophy. It was a beautiful time of connecting with God and each other in body, mind, and spirit.

“What a gift to gather with sisters I’ve never met in person but was excited to see, who were also excited to see me! It was a little glimpse of what Heaven will be like, where we are completely welcomed and loved as family and together eternally praising God for His glorious grace! Thank you Lord for the gift of these precious sisters of mine!”

“As a mom of a mixture of homeschooling and traditional schooling outside of three boys, I’m constantly on the movement from one activity to the next. I know that I needed to be away without an agenda or the “next thing on my schedule”, however , I feel guilty for many reasons. I’m thankful that Life-giving Motherhood annual retreat had provided this opportunity for me to step away from my “mom duty” for three days, and seeing so many like minded women gathering, sharing life, and encouraging each other. I was particularly touched by the beautiful tea cup sets which we used at the retreat. They were brought by individual sisters from home. It completely fills my beauty craving heart with joy and know that my Heavenly Father cares for such little details of our lives. I was burned out physically and mentally before I went, but I came back restored and strengthened. Thanks to Min, Ana and many sisters working behind the scene. My heart is full of gratitude. “

I“I thank my Lord and Savior for inviting me to this retreat, which helped strengthen my relationship with Him. The practice of the spiritual discipline of silence and solitude, the guided reflections in the Discernment Workshops, the songs of praise, and the fellowship with the sisters made it possible for me to hear His voice. I have already started to put into practice some advice from the gift I received: "Daily Grace: A Guide to Intentional Bible Study and Prayers," which will help me deepen my study of the Word to obey and praise Him better for His glorious grace through His Son Jesus. Thank you, and I am praying now that the next retreat will be as blessed as this one.”
