At Life-giving Motherhood, it is our mission to glorify God in the “everyday.” We diligently scrutinize the “ideas” we allow into our homes, and take our “home gate-keeping” vocation very seriously.

If you know, but you keep falling off “the plan” you’ve set for yourself, again you’re in the right place. Supportive inspiration undergirded by the Word of God is what’s missing. And we have that in boatloads in Life-giving Motherhood.

We’ll be linking arms with you to not only take that first step (which is always the hardest), but to also create a prayerful strategy.

Learning from our failings and God’s grace through it all, we’ve put together a FLUID ROADMAP.

Together, we will take all of our hopes, visions, and heartaches to the feet of Jesus, and saturate each step with prayer.

Dear sister, don't worry. You’ll find yourself in a safe place, among sisters in Christ, who share your heartache, as well as your longing to “live a life worthy of the call” we have in Christ - and for our children to do the same.

What We Cultivate

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE NO.1 - DATE WITH JESUS

We believe that we can do nothing of eternal value and impact without first abiding in Christ and tending to our heart-relationship with Him. Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for decades and already have the life-giving habit of sitting at His feet every morning, or you’re struggling to do so, be encouraged and find inspiration with your sisters in Christ around the world, who have the same heart-longings as you. We all cry out from the depths of our core to know and to love Jesus more. You will find strategies here, yes, but you will also find renewed, glorious vision to keep running the race marked out for you.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE NO.2 - PRAYER & FASTING

Envision a vast army of daughters of God spread across the globe, called by Him to motherhood, linking arms to pray and fast for His heart and will to be accomplished in the next generation. That is what we are. Life-giving Motherhood mothers pray and fast each Thursday together, across the world, for our spouses, our marriages, and for each child in turn. We also have an intercessory prayer team who will lift up your special prayer needs of you each month.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE NO.3 - SERVICE TO OTHERS

Many of our LGM sisters have found the addition of this spiritual discipline to be absolutely transformative. A paradigm shift occurs as we begin to see how God has called us to cooperate with Him in being poured out for “the least of these.”

Here you will discover your Heavenly Father just what it means to serve as “His hands and feet”, both in your own home, and - with your children - to the community and beyond.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE NO.4 - INTENSE STUDY OF GOD’S WORDS & WAYS

Every mother is her child’s first theologian. There is nothing more crucial for the mother herself to be continuously growing in her knowledge of the Word of God, to sit under its teaching, to hear the Word and obey, to grow increasingly in wisdom under the Scriptures, and to protect her thirst for the Living Word. Slowly but surely, this spiritual discipline cultivates just that. Think of it as an “At-Home Seminary” for moms.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE NO.5 - SIMPLE LIVING

Jesus shows us the way in the manner in which He lived when He walked upon this earth. He lived simply, with complete surrender and trust that His Father would take care of all His needs. During this spiritual discipline, we discover that it begins with decluttering and unifying our own heart. We cannot live simply, in surrender to our God, if our heart is divided and full of the worries and cares of this world. (Remember the parable of the sower?) Thus, we begin with our heart’s affections, and then add strategies to cultivate a holy (set apart for God) atmosphere in our home and lifestyle.

CHARLOTTE MASON HOMESCHOOL HELP.

Many LGM sisters are homeschool moms or planning to homeschool, and are wanting to grow in an understanding of a Christ-glorifying, Gospel-centered philosophy of education. There is no other educational philosophy AND METHOD of education that claims, as its ultimate aim, intimacy with God. The Charlotte Mason philosophy and method stands upon the foundational truth of each child being made in God’s image as a unique person, and the Holy Spirit as the Supreme Educator for each person.
